The Organisation will hold members personal information collected through the membership forms for the purposes of keeping members informed of organisational events and activities. This information will be disseminated normally by email.
Personal information includes name, address, telephone numbers and email addresses and any other relevant personal information provided by you.
Once a member ceases to be a member details will be removed from our database but held in a lapsed member database for a period of three years before being deleted.
The Organisation will not use or make available any of this personal information including email addresses for general marketing through any third parties without containing your specific consent. The Organisation and the Shepton Mallet Snowdrop Festival may use the information for their own internal marketing purposes.
You have the right of access to the information we hold about you and any request should be made initially to the Secretary.
You may also ask for the information to be remove at any time, however in these circumstances we shall not able to maintain your membership and it will automatically lapse at the next renewal date. Any such request should be made to the Secretary.
