12 acres of gardens planted with trees and shrubs, Lawns were sown and naturally undulating landscape. Also ‘prairie’ and ‘steppe’ style planting
provide an array of striking colours along with the Hosta walk, cottage garden and wildflower
meadow. The accidental discovery of spring water triggered the creation of the lakes, dramatic ravine and
waterfall inspiring the innovative planting and plethora of colour throughout the seasons
The garden is home to wildlife and many species of birds; our local ornithologist has
recorded 125 to date. The lakes provide a sanctuary for the resident swans.
