Welcome to the Shepton Mallet Horticultural Society web site.

We will are currently accepting donated snowdrops from individuals
so we can plant them  in prominent places around Shepton Mallet on Saturday 8th April.

a) If you have any snowdrops you would like to donate, please take them to Tesco (Shepton Mallet )
on Saturday 25th or Sunday 26th where there will be a drop off point outside the store

b) if you would like to help us with the planting, please come along to the Market Place 10.30am Saturday 8th April.

We are a community group with a keen interest in plants and gardens.  In the winter we meet at the The Dusthole (Kings Arms, Garston Street) in Shepton Mallet where we have speakers, hands-on workshops or demonstrations.  In the summer we visit gardens, nurseries and have a stand at the Collett Park Day.
